Fishing was good again today. Fished in southern Ludington, Scottville area on St. Marys Lake. Plastics again out fished any and all other offerings. Blue glow head #5 size with a pink nuggy tail was very good, as was a chartreuse glow head with a red nuggy tail. Took a summer charter guest out on the ice, had a great time. Joe Yob made the trip up and enjoyed taking home the catch of 50 crappie. Booking a lot of charters lately for the up coming summer as well, so hope to here from you soon to reserve your date!!!!!!!!!

Well Spring is here and thus the Great Lakes are starting to produce Fish!!!!!!!! The boats are not in yet. The boat launches are plugged with ice still, but the area breakwalls are starting to produce beautiful Brown Trout and Steelhead! My cousin (Gary Olson) fished yesterday out of Ludington on the south breakwall and did very well. He and his fishing partner were able to land 5 Brown trout and 2 Steelhead (Rainbow Trout). The winds where right and the warm river water had blown around the breakwall giving them ideal fishing conditions. This does happen quite often and depending on which way the warm water is traveling either breakwall can be very good fishing! So get your gear ready pack a sandwich Spring has sprung!!!!!!!!!!!!!
