Fishing was slow today. We still managed to catch a nice box of fish. We started in the 02s and fished to the 06s. The break was at 80ft, and we fished in 120ft of water. Fish came from 61ft to 110ft down. Our riggers were set at 61ft, 81ft, and 110ft. The wire divers were set to 150ft and 260ft. We also ran copper, 400ft was our best. With only a couple of bites early, we quickly switched everything to meat rigs, and they caught most of our fish.

The fish are coming in to PM Lake. Fish are being caught just outside the harbor and in the lake. Run your riggers at 10ft to 20ft with 50ft leads. Divers should be set to 70ft. If the traffic isn’t too bad I will run 3 color cores. We use a mix of glow plugs and spin doctors in the morning and add some red head chrome J plugs during the day.

The first half of this week we could not fish due to high winds. The water was all stirred up after the blow, had a couple of slow days after that. The fish are back in full force again. We fished the bank from the 00s to the 03s in 100 ft of water. Plugs on full cores and 300ft copper worked well. Riggers 57ft and 61ft with a Mag Moonshine or a plug both took fish. The center rigger with a 10in spin doctor and fly 81ft down was good also.

Check this nice catch. A father son team will have memories to last a lifetime. Great fishing again! The big four year old King Salmon have not run up the river yet. That means they are still out in the lake to catch. They are late and that's good news for Lake Michigan charters.

My friend Eloy, and his friends, have fished with me for over 10 years. It’s always a pleasure to have them on board. We fished the bank in 80ft of water in the morning, and then moved out to 180ft off the stick after the morning bite. Our program has been working, so why mess with a good thing? Our best baits are Ace high double glow and Gray ghost plugs. Later in the morning we switch to meat rigs. The Mo Mo, the Froggy, and the Holo red are hot.
